RETURNED MERCHANDISE
For most merchandise, items are warranted by the manufacturer for a minimum of 1 year. If you wish to submit a Return Merchandise claim, please contact returns@wescotools.com directly for specific instructions. Please indicate if your claim is for defective merchandise or warranty claims and if you wish an exchange or refund (a non-exchange refund is considered a non-defective return). All non-product related fees (i.e. shipping and handling, etc) are not refundable. Please do not return products without pre-authorization. Unauthorized returns or items returned to an incorrect address will not receive credit.
Defective Product Returns
If you receive a defective product please notify us immediately at returns@wescotools.com. We will arrange for shipping a new product and the return of the defective product. Damage claims must be made within 20 days of the original ship date. A pro-rated charge (up to 100%) may be assessed for items that are returned incomplete or contain user damaged parts. We allow ten days after issuing a ARS label after witch we will charge your account with the cost of the replacement item plus shipping if the damaged item is not returned. Replacement items will be shipped via ground only regardless of the original shipping method.
Non-Defective Product Returns
Non-defective ("Buyers Remorse") unused products can be returned within 15 days of the original ship date, for credit less shipping and a 20% restocking fee to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses. In addition to this fee, a pro-rated charge (up to 100%) will be assessed for items that are returned incomplete, user damaged or with non-resalable parts. For items with free shipping or where the actual shipping costs exudes the amount charged the actual shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
Software and electronic information media (i.e. CDs and DVDs) are non-returnable.
Wesco Tools stands by the quality and craftsmanship of all displayed merchandise. We will work with you to the best of our ability regarding any merchandise returns.
Export Order Returns (this section applys only to export orders[orders shipping outside of the US])
Absolutely no Buyer Remorse return authorizations will be issued for export orders. Non functional items will be issued return authorizations but return shipping will be the customers responsibility. Damage claims must be made within 20 days of the original ship date. If after inspection our experts determine that a damage goods claim resulted from user damage or are returned incomplete, no refund or exchange will be granted. Return to the customer of fraudulently claimed damages will be the customers responsibility.
If your shipping address is a US freight forwarder our domestic shipping and return policies apply.
Back Orders
We work hard to eliminate backorders both through continuous on hand quantity updates as well as a top notch-purchasing department unsurpassed by any other in the industry. In spite of our best efforts occasionally a backorder situation will occur. In such an instance we will ship the backordered item as soon as absolutely possible or at your direction we will refund the purchase price of the shorted item. Note: No refunds will be issued after an item has shipped; after the point of shipping any cancellation will be considered a return and all return polices will apply. On all orders shipping expedited charges are non refundable unless the order is canceled prior to any items shipping.
Software and Electronic Media
Software and electronic information media (i.e. CDs and DVDs) are non-returnable.
Special Orders
We do accept special orders from selected manufacturers. You must obtain a formal quote by contacting us. Then the order must be placed via the Order Form. This form can then be fax or mailed to our sales team for procurement. All special orders are subject to our standard Terms and Conditions, Shipping Policies, and these Return Policies. Note: All Special orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. |
